These terms cover the use of deanfreightbroker.com, the website of Dean Freight Software. By reading the site you accept them; if you do not, close the tab. They are written to be read, not skimmed.

What the site is for

The site describes load-planning software that Dean Freight Software sells to small trucking carriers, and it lets a carrier ask for a walkthrough. That is its whole purpose. It is not a marketplace, it does not list freight, it does not connect shippers with carriers, and nothing on it is an offer to arrange transport.

Acceptable use

Use the site as a visitor would. Do not send the form anything unlawful, abusive, or belonging to someone else; do not probe, scrape or overload it; do not try to reach any part of it that is not linked from a page. Do not submit a week of loads that you are not entitled to share.

A form submission is an inquiry

Sending the form asks for a conversation. It does not create a contract, a subscription, a booking or an obligation on either side. Any agreement to use the software is made separately, in writing, after a walkthrough, and on terms provided at that time. Until then, nothing on this site commits Dean Freight Software to supply anything or commits you to buy anything.

What we are not

Dean Freight Software is not a freight broker, holds no operating authority, does not arrange transport, does not quote lane rates and is not an electronic logging device. Nothing on the site should be read as any of those, and no page creates a duty to act as one.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, code and the name Dean Freight Software belong to the business. The photographs are used under the licenses listed below and belong to their photographers. You may quote the site for comment or review; you may not copy pages, lift the copy for another site, or present the software's description as your own.

Limitation of liability

The pages here are offered in the state you find them. Dean Freight Software does not warrant that it is free of error or interruption, and accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on the site's contents, from a message that failed to arrive, or from the third-party form relay that carries it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States of America, and any dispute about them belongs to the courts sitting in Greene County, Missouri, where the business is placed.

Changes to these terms

Dean Freight Software may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version, and continued use of the site after a revision is acceptance of it.
